Bellemoor School | Southampton

Despite still not having a sports hall we have got vastly improved facilities across the school. These include a really well equipped fitness suite, refurbished classrooms, improved gym, and a superb newly renovated business centre with lecture theatre, computer suites and new workshops. The school is well covered with CCTV which, along with the other developments, has had a dramatic impact on bullying, vandalism and theft.

Plans over the summer include:

•          refurbishing the classrooms along the bottom corridor of the main block
•          revamping the toilets and re-designating them to specific year groups
•          moving the drama studio to main block and moving Pupil Services to the pastoral block
•          improvements to the music rooms to allow the development of DJ workshops
•          removal of the huts and the installation of a multi surface pitch area
•          adding a small kitchen to the Business Centre next to the lecture theatre.

Although there may be some uncertainty about the long term plans for the school I am absolutely determined that our boys should have the very best that we can give them.
