All students have access to 2 major programs – SAM Learning and MyMaths. They have their own log ins and can access these from home and school. SAM Learning has been shown to add up to 2 GCSE grades to a student's results and improve KS3 test performance. We can analyse use of SAM learning and evaluate the impact on each student. Our last Year 11 used the system well – UNFORTUNATELY very few of our current Year 10 are doing so. In fact we are looking at single figure usage! I would encourage all parents to get their sons to use this package at home – we can give you a break down of who uses what, when and where. This is one area where students can take a lot of responsibility for themselves.  Log in details will be issued in September.
