As a consequence of a number of parents parking illegally and dangerously at the school entrance we have asked for support from the police.  This dangerous behaviour has resulted in at least one boy being knocked off his bike recently.  Unless parents are more responsible I fear a child might be injured more seriously.  As parents are breaking the law the police have been issuing on the spot fines (and will continue to do so).  I am sure that the majority of responsible and law-abiding adults will support the school and the police in our attempts to make the roads safer for all our children.
