Details of how these times are calculated are available on the college website. The timings are based on DfES recommendations of how long students should spend on work outside school hours.

Additional learning tasks
Staff may also set short learning tasks in addition to their main P2I tasks. These tasks will be set to assist the learning of students and help them prepare for internal and external assessments. These will normally be recorded in exercise books or planners.

Extra curricular P2I
Students are encouraged to consider activities they take part in outside college as important aspects to their learning and development as citizens. Students are therefore asked to record these extra curricular activities in their planners and discuss them with their peers and staff. If students do not participate in any such activities we encourage them to do so.
