What is a GCSE in MFL?
In the global society of the 21st Century, language competence and cultural understanding are increasingly important. As well as being able to converse in another language, learning a foreign language makes an important contribution to learning generally by encouraging you to attend to the meaning of words and sentences, to recognise differences in concepts and usage and develop an awareness of the nature of language.
